We all love comic books. They have kept us endless hours of company during our childhood and adolescence and then they became motion pictures, enthralling us even more. Here are the best comic book movies that have been shot so far.
1. Superman:

Obviously Superman is one of the most successful adaptations of comic books into movies. One of the main reasons why Superman became an iconic hero is that he can do pretty much all humans would like to do. Christopher Reeve was the ideal Superman – Clark Kent, and although film industry has made huge leaps forward in visual effects since then, Superman remains one of the best comic book movies we have seen.
2. Batman:

Batman has to be the darkest of the heroes, not only because he is dressed in black, but also because he is an enigmatic figure. His opponents love to hate him and the spectators adored him. In 1989, Tim Burton created the perfect Batman with Michael Keaton in the main role. But what made the Batman movies so spectacular were the evil roles: Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, and the late Heath Ledger in the best Joker role ever; these are things you simply cannot forget.
3. Spiderman:

Although Spiderman movies were not as successful as the Superman and Batman movies, still they were fun to watch. Spiderman 2 was better than the first, and Toby McGuire became a rather kind and little clumsy and casual.
4. 300:

If you are into history, the 300 is a movie to watch. Based on a comic novel, the movie describes one of the most notorious battles in history, the battle of the Spartans against the Persians in Thermopylai (Hot Gates). The movie is thrilling, a visual spectacle. Not to mention the impeccable abs of the Spartans.
5. Men in Black:

That was a comic indeed! Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith were amazing as the men in black duo, resulting in a hilarious yet very interesting result with nice special and visual effects. Men in Black is the funniest of the comic book movies of the last 20 years.
6. Blade:

In late 90s Blade was the absolute movie to watch. It had a frenetic editing, amazing cinematography and gritty realism that became the example for so many movies to come. Wesley Snipes is the man to fear in Blade.
7. The X Men:

The X Men were a series of movies that made a huge hit upon release. X men movies were enjoyable, thrilling, adventurous and violent enough: these traits made them so appealing to the audiences all over the world.
8. Iron Man:

Iron Man is not the most popular comic book outside the US; however, Robert Downey Jr did such a great job that everyone loved the movie, even if not that familiar with the original comic hero.
9. The Crow:

The Crow is a 1994 film based on a comic book starring Brandon Lee. A dark, enigmatic but so captivating movie, it became huge success upon release. Lee died during the last weeks of shootings when a dummy bullet hit his abdomen.
10. Captain America:

Captain America is the hero dedicated to defend the ideals of America and he does an equally great job on the big screen as well! Chris Evans is the man of the movie.
